New Message Board

As you faithful Hornet fans who read this blog know, the Sacbuzz message board no longer exists. At least two of you have commented below that you would donate to get one up and running again. Thank you for stepping up. I see a few things needing to happen to make the board materialize. They are as follows:
1) We need a project manager to oversee its resurrection. Takers?
2) We need research on host sites, board options and costs. A good place to begin starts at Portland State Fans, SpartanThunder (Scout), and Eagsports.com(Rivals). Email the moderator and get the information on affordability and ease to get one started. Takers?
3) Once a host for the right cost has been determined, how do we coordinate and collect the monies from those who want to contribute? Ideas?
As Godfather said in III, “Every time I think I’m out, they pull me back in!” May it not be so!

I have contacted Scout as to what it will take to get a board.
I really like the Scout.com set up. However, the cost could be an issue. A positive is that when you search a school’s name in google along with “Message Board or Forum”, it usually comes up first.
Again, I’m a poor grad student, but I’d be more than happy to chip in on the costs.
It’s just too bad that we couldn’t have had a little bit of warning that sacbuzz was going down the drain so we could have notified the “tortured faithful.”
Let’s not everyone jump at once.
No word back from Scout.
Cost will probably be the biggest issue. I’m willing to pay, and I know that others will as well, we just need to get the word out.
I like the egriz board. Let me see how much they pay…
Can’t be one of the only schools in D1 without a sports message board. That’s just sad

Just wanted to let everyone know that Chris at eGriz has set us up with a board on his BigSkyFans.com board. We are currently working out the bugs. I already have GCM involved. We should be up and running before the end of this weekend.
You can register now, but there likely won’t be much traffic until we can get the forums set up.

The new site is completely up and running. Chris at eGriz has set up all of our new forums. We have space for football, hoops, other Hornet sports, outside sports, a Stingerolitics (politics) space, and we even have our old Random Cr@p section.
Come check it out. The more, the merrier!
If anyone knows how to get hold of iSac and SactoHornetAlum, I would like to hear from them soon.
