UM Running Game Commentary Part Deux
October 18, 2008 by admin
Back for a second half of mental, audio, and visual abuse.
I am such a big fan of new men’s bball coach Brian Katz that I thought I would try his lunch recipe of five tomatoes and two apples during halftime. I don’t think I have ever had that much fiber in one sitting.
I should have had a Buffalo burger that Steve is talking about right now.
Griz get another first down. Should I be surprised? Now across the 50 facing a 3rd and short.
Berquist to Maranara and he breaks free for another touchdown. Griz 36 Hornets 7.
My stomach is starting to rumble. I am sure glad I don’t have to take a drink everytime Berquist connects with Maranara. But then, I have never tried drunk blogging. Question. Would that improve the running game commentary?
Question. Do I want to keep watching and listening? I thought the NAU game was bad, but this…
Washington with catch and run and fumbled it out of bounds.
Hilliard with nice run to the outside out to 50 yardline and for a HORNET FIRST DOWN.
Hilliard pounds up middle for 3 yards. Again up the middle for 7 plus yards for another HORNET FIRST DOWN.
Hornets moving the ball. Washington with a quick catch and gets 8 yards.
Hilliard stuffed for two yard loss. Hornets face 3rd and 5 on Griz 33 yard line.
Hilliard UP the Middle gets ANOTHER HORNET FIRST DOWN! Approaching 80 yards rushing.
Play fake. Griz secondary tips ball away. Hilliard no gain. 3rd and 10.
Washington with short catch and can’t break free for first down.
Riverboat Gambler goes for it on 4th and 8. Refs decide to throw their flags again. Hornet must have looked at the refs. 4th and 12.
Incomplete. No first down. No score. No penalty. No love.
Grizz get touchdown in one play. 73 some yards. All alone. Easy touchdown.
Griz 43 Hornets 7
Those tomatoes and apples are really getting a hold on me. Excuse me. Be right back.
I was gone longer than I thought. 11 minutes left in 4th quarter and the score is the same.
I got distracted by picking up Sigmund Frued’s epic General Introduction to Psycho-Analysis. His chapters on Fixation upon Traumas, Aspects of Development and Regression, and Anxiety are helping me with my need for self-analytic therapy when it comes to my addiction to Hornet football.
Thanks for the shout out from Steve and Jason. I need more than Gorrilla glue. Mmmm, liquid ant bait, maybe. Felt? I need to be in a felt padded room. I am throwing Freud out the window. No good. Its garbage.
Glad to hear the family ties of Fischer and Stockton to Montana players are only six degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon.
5 minutes left. Now playing Little River Band’s Lonesome Loser. On endless loop.
Griz get first down without trying. Two minutes to go. Run the clock.
Thank goodness for SEC football. Gamecocks vs. Tigers in Columbia.
