Gettin Vertical

Former Hornet kicker Juan Gamboa just does not look like your typical college kicker. Rather than kicking the pigskin, he looks like he could handle knocking down a running back.
His bio shows he can handle himself just fine in the weight room:
Power Clean: 300 pounds
Back Squat: 475 pounds
Bench Press: 375 pounds

MEN’S BASKETBALL ADDS WALTER JACKSON AND DURO BJEGOVIC TO ITS 2009-10 RECRUITING CLASS
MEN’S BASKETBALL SIGNS FAIRFIELD HIGH SCHOOL’S JOHN DICKSON
The recruiting class is so far comprised of two juco transfers and two freshman. Lopez and Bjegovic, the Croation, are leaving the Prairie State for the Golden State.  Must not have been that tough of a sell.
