Not! The Hornets had one of the best quarters this season with their play in quarter 1, only to play arguably their worst quarter in the 2nd. Great turnaround in the third to control the ball for 11 minutes and only 10 yards in penalties for the game. A tribute to their mental toughness and discipline. A great win, on so many levels.

What a great game. Down to one tailback with a gimpy ankle and the offensive line took over and opened the holes to control the game. It looked to me like Peter Lenz was dominating and set the stage. Christian Clark’s four sacks, some at very critical junctures stuffed the Jacks on the defensive side. A game won in the trenches, how football cliche!
It was a great game for the program. Im still in shock that the much maligned defense for most of the year shut out in the 2nd half the now-previous 21st ranked NAU offense…
